Actually, I'm a horse

This past week I've been staying in a lot to save money for my 14-day trip to Australia, and boy am I getting stir crazy. Just look at what I've been doing with my time:

TV problem

If you didn't know I had a TV addiction before, now you do. Here it is. I made a spreadsheet of the number of episodes to be seen as well as the number completed for each TV series. My goal is to finish all of them by the time school starts, which is exactly a month away. Think I can do it?

Tina Fey

I just finished Tina Fey's book Bossypants. Just hilarious. Highly recommended. Read it! Actually, listen to it. If I'd known there was an audio version, I would've gotten that instead, just because it probably would've been even funnier being that it's read by Tina Fey herself.

Now excuse me while I go catch some 30 Rock re-runs. 

Durian Durian

I was feeling extra ethnic/vietnamese/exotic/whatever you wanna call it, so my mom and I hit up Hoa Binh and Super H Mart to satisfy my cravings. Durian was a must, but we picked up other goodies such as squid jerky, squid chips, banh bo, and sweet buns to name a few.

Hanging with the Amer brothers

Tamer came up to Atl this past weekend to check out apts for the upcoming school year, so we got to hang out once again. Despite the awful weather and being pretty much limited to the Duluth-Suwanee area, I had a  nice time, plus I got to know his younger brother Yasser a little better. What a goofball, that kid. A giant goofball, he's at least 6'4, and all he ever wants is ice cream!

We went to Dave & Busters where Tamer and Yasser won nearly 2,000 tickets between them, bowled, ventured to Old Fourth Ward to Victory Sandwich Bar, grabbed some Frutella frozen yogurt, and finally, saved money by kickin' it at my apt to watch a $1 RedBox rental.

Sav, GA, we meet again!

We decided to hit up Savannah for 4th of July weekend. It was a blast. Thanks for hosting us, Tamer!

Day (Night) 1: Downtown Savannah

Met up with another friend for dinner and drinks

Played darts n stuff

Watched Chris ride it at this awful, country-ass spot called Saddlebags

Ended the night at Sweet Melissa's with some crazy big 'za

Day 2: Tybee Day!!

Took touristy pics by the Tybee lighthouse

Kayaked to lil' Tybee

Hung out by the beach for most of the day

Scratched the sand for glowing dinoflagellates

Day 3: Seafood breakfast

Picked up 36 crab, 1lb of peel n' eat shrimp, 1lb of seasoned crawfish, 8lbs of oysters, and deep-fried crinkle fries. Sigh. 

Can't wait to visit again!
